Commencement, from the ground up

Paul Westbrook, foreground, and Jim Royce work with crews from the mason and carpenter shops preparing Schoellkopf Field for Sunday's Commencement ceremonies. The crews spent the day putting down plywood flooring on the field. They laid 1,500 sheets of plywood, requiring 18,000 screws, in less than three days. Adriana Rovers/University Photography
