The music of George Gershwin will fill Barnes Hall this Reunion Weekend. David Borden, director of Cornell's digital music program, and Edward Murray, director of the Cornell Symphony Orchestra, will present a two-piano program titled "Mostly Gershwin" June 6 at 9 p.m. and June 7 at 8 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.
Borden and Murray will perform solo and join each other for five duets including I Got Rhythm, Satin Doll, All the Thing You Are, Night and Day and If Dreams Come True.
Some of the selections to be performed are featured in their recent compact disc Night and Day, which will be available for sale at the concert.
