The Executive Committee of the Cornell Board of Trustees unanimously approved 1997-98 tuition rates for Cornell's statutory colleges at its meeting in New York City June 26.
The trustees set the following rates for students in the College of Human Ecology, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the School of Industrial and Labor Relations and the College of Veterinary Medicine:
·Undergraduate resident, $9,300, an increase of 5.7 percent.
·Undergraduate non-resident, $17,950, up 5.2 percent.
·Graduate non-veterinary, $10,850, up 5.5 percent.
·Doctor of veterinary medicine resident, $14,000, up 4.1 percent.
·Doctor of veterinary medicine nonresident, $18,800, up 4 percent.
·Graduate veterinary, $11,500, up 4.8 percent.
In January the trustees approved a 4.5 percent increase in tuition, to $21,840, for undergraduates in the endowed colleges.
