TCAT buses will start using the reopened section of Tower Road on Monday, Aug. 18. Buses that previously used the temporary stops at Teagle and Barton halls on Garden Avenue will now stop at Statler and Sage halls on East Avenue. The Teagle/Barton stops will be eliminated. The change in routing will not affect trip departure times.
TCAT routes affected by the change are 5, 31, 35, 41, 43, 44, 50, 51, 55, 56, 80, 84, 91 and 92. Revised schedules will be available on the buses. Call 277-RIDE for route and schedule information.
Riders of Chemung/Schuyler County Transit and Tioga County Public Transit should call their transit providers for route and schedule changes.
