Among those performing the exam which found the young cat in perfect health was veterinary technician Peggy Louer, a veterinary technician from the Burnet Park Zoo in Syracuse. Performing the examination of the young leopard but not shown in the photograph were Noha Abou-Madi, D.V.M., M.Sc., postdoctoral associate in wildlife medicine, and George Kollias, D.V.M., Ph.D., the Jay Hyman Professor of Wildlife Medicine.
