In an Oct. 8 story on the 1998 David and Lucile Packard Foundation Fellowships for Science and Engineering awarded to two Cornell faculty members, the name of a past Packard Foundation fellowship winner from Cornell was inadvertently omitted. Veit Elser, associate professor of physics, won a Packard fellowship in 1989.
