Licensed veterinary technicians (LVTs) perform their tasks under the supervision of veterinarians, whom they assist. The technicians at Cornell are specially trained in their area of expertise. Technicians, in both the large and small animal clinics, work in the areas of ultrasound, radiology, cardiology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, community practice, surgery, anesthesia, dentistry and emergency/critical care.
