In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Tompkins County Task Force for Battered Women is sponsoring a conference, "Domestic Violence and Lesbian Relationships: What Service Providers Need to Know," Oct. 28 in the One World Room of Anabel Taylor Hall.
Ellen Pence of Duluth, Minn., a pioneer in the domestic-violence movement, will be the keynote speaker.
