We live in a community that cares, one with strong United Way agencies ready to serve you and your neighbors. As a member of our community, you have the privilege to participate.
Every bit helps, whether you volunteer your time, give a one-time gift or contribute through payroll deduction to your favorite United Way agency. Getting involved with your community on any level allows you to be a hero to yourself, your family and your neighbors.
What happened last year?
In 1997, caring Cornell faculty and staff raised more than $497,000 to support United Way funded agencies, topping our goal by $12,000. This year, we hope to build on that success by raising $500,000.
You can designate your gift:
Each United Way pledge card allows you to include or exclude agencies of your choice. Your designations will have first priority; before undesignated funds are distributed, your contributions will go directly to the agency or agencies you have selected. This option, initiated last year, lets you choose the recipient of your donation.
