Vietnam veterans Rick Schmidt, a mechanical engineering technician in Upson Hall, and Leo Brown, a research machinist, also in Upson, were among those gathered in the Founder's Room at Anabel Taylor Hall, Nov. 19, for the 1998 Veteran's Gathering. The annual post-Veterans' Day event is hosted by the Office of the Associate Provost and the Office of Equal Opportunity in honor of Cornell veterans.
