Ralph Reed, former executive director of the Christian Coalition, will present "Behind the Veil: How Politics are Really Played" April 21 at 8 p.m. in Statler Auditorium. The event, which is free and open to the public, is cosponsored by the Young America's Foundation, Cornell Review, the Oliphant Speakers Series, the Dean of Students and the Department of Government.
Reed headed the Christian Coalition from 1989 to 1997. Under his leadership the Christian Coalition's membership swelled to more than 2 million members. Today Reed is president of Century Strategies, a marketing and campaign consulting company.
