In an effort to keep the Cornell and Ithaca communities informed throughout the NCAA certification self-study process, the university will hold several open forums on campus as the self-study progresses. The first open forum will be Tuesday, May 5, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Robison Hall of Fame Room in Schoellkopf Memorial Hall.
Ronald G. Ehrenberg, chair of Cornell's NCAA Certification Steering Committee, and other members of the committee will be on hand to go over the proposed plan. Members of the Cornell and Ithaca communities are encouraged to attend the open forum to pose questions and comment on the certification process.
Subsequent open forums will be held to gather feedback on the reports prepared by the four subcommittees and the final self-study report. In addition, all meetings of the steering committee will be open to the public. The steering committee will meet Aug. 31 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.; and Nov. 24 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Both steering committee meetings will be held in the Robison Hall of Fame Room.
