West Ave. closing: In anticipation of a large gathering celebrating the last day of classes Friday, May 1, West Avenue on campus will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. No parking or traffic will be permitted on the road between those hours. Emergency vehicles will, of course, have access should they be required. People who normally park along West Avenue (WE and R permits) may park as follows: WE permit holders may park in WD (West Dorm) and A areas; R permit holders may park in WD, A, CC and ND (North Dorm) areas. Call the Office of Transportation Services, 255-4600, if you have questions.

Senior Sendoff: The Cornell Concert Commission and the Class of '98 are presenting the first Senior Sendoff on Sunday, May 3, at 8 p.m. in the Field House. The event, which is open to the entire Cornell community, will feature the band They Must Be Giants, as well as Lincoln and TMBG, refreshments and a DJ dance party. Tickets are on sale at the Willard Straight Hall ticket office. For more information, call the Cornell Concert Commission office at 255-7231.
