The name of Beatrice Biebuyck, assistant director for gender equity in the Office of Equal Opportunity, was inadvertently left off the list of winners of the 1998 Constance E. and Alice H. Cook award in the April 30 edition.
Also in that edition, the name of Victoria Scott, law, was left off the list of Community Spirit Award winners, because of information received after deadline. Scott was honored in the Dedicated Service Award category.
The Chronicle regrets the omissions.
