Memorials

A memorial graveside service will be held Friday, May 8, at 11 a.m. for Paul M. O'Leary, first dean of the School of Business and Public Administration (now the Johnson Graduate School of Management) and former dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, who died Dec. 25, 1997. The service will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. John Taylor officiating.

A memorial gathering for Eldon "Bud" Kenworthy, professor of government from 1966 to 1992 who died March 14, will be held Monday, May 11, at 4 p.m. in the Founders Room in Anabel Taylor Hall. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a memorial fund established at Whitman College, where Kenworthy taught from 1992 to 1998: Scholarships for Students in Latin America and Environmental Studies, Whitman College, c/o Susan Brick, Walla Walla, Wash. 99362.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Harvey E. Sampson '51, presidential councillor and emeritus member of the board of trustees who died April 23, will be held Monday, May 11, at 4 p.m. in Sage Chapel. If they wish, friends may make contributions to the Harvey E. Sampson Memorial Fund, c/o Cornell University, 55 Brown Road, Ithaca, N.Y. 14853.
