Awards

The following list of Cornell faculty awards is a continuation of the honors listed in the May 21 edition of the Chronicle, and was received after that issue. Congratulations to all!

Johnson Graduate School of Management

Alan McAdams, associate professor of managerial economics, and Mark Nelson, associate professor of accounting, have been named the winners of the Stephen and Margery Russell Distinguished Teaching Award. The award is presented by the Johnson Graduate School of Management's five-year reunion class (Class of 1993) to the faculty member who had the most important impact on alumni success. McAdams also won the award in 1996.

The Apple Teaching Award, presented by the Johnson School's graduating class, was given to Bhaskaran Swaminathan, associate professor of finance, who won the award in 1995. Sarah Tasker, assistant professor of accounting, and Kathleen O'Connor, assistant professor of organizational behavior, won honorable mentions.
