Marinaro here Saturday: Ed Marinaro, the all-time leading rusher in Cornell and Ivy League history with 4,715 yards, will be back on campus for the Big Red's game with Columbia Saturday, Nov. 13, celebrating the 28th anniversary of his breaking the NCAA career rushing record against the Lions. The only Big Red player ever to have his football uniform number retired, Marinaro will be on hand to greet fans and sign autographs from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday in the Robison Hall of Fame Room in Schoellkopf Hall. Marinaro, who was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1991, played professionally with the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Jets before embarking on an acting career that landed him starring roles on TV's "Hill Street Blues" and "Sisters" and in several feature films.
