Students for committees: The following faculty committees are seeking students who have an interest in becoming a member for 1999-2000:
Application forms are available in the offices of the Dean of Faculty, Dean of Students, Assemblies; at the desks in Willard Straight Hall, Noyes Center and Robert Purcell Community Center; and at the Information and Referral Desk in Day Hall. Both graduate and undergraduate students are urged to apply. Completed applications must be returned to the Office of the Dean of Faculty, 315 Day Hall, no later than Monday, April 19. Applications for other faculty committees that have student members are available at the Office of the Assemblies, 165 Day Hall.
Consulting Day: Cornell's Association of Computer Science Undergraduates is hosting a Consulting Day April 17 at 2 p.m. in the Edwards Room of Anabel Taylor Hall. The purpose of the event is to bring together the Tompkins County business community and the Cornell student community to find the best possible technical solutions to business problems. The businesses are invited to challenge the students, and the scope of the problems is not limited.
