Admissions will have summer conferences in Biotech Building

This summer, beginning in June, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions will be offering group admissions conferences at the Biotechnology Building for students interested in learning more about Cornell. Further Saturday conferences will be held at the Biotechnology Building from June through May 2000. The Biotechnology Building is located on campus near East and Garden avenues.

Plans for a new Cornell visitors center are under discussion. Since a center will not be available for the next admissions cycle, the Biotechnology Building conferences are an interim step that will allow prospective applicants and their families to be better served until the center is established.

Here is the schedule of times for conferences at the Biotechnology Building this summer, from June 1 through Sept. 3:

Admissions visitors are asked to stop at one of the four staffed Visitors and Parking Information booths at the main entrances to campus so they can be directed to a designated admissions parking area.

Visitors are urged to call the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 255-5241 beforehand for information and assistance, as there are some very busy weekends during the school year. Calling ahead allows the office to keep visitors informed of the peak times.
