Partnership for learning

Seven communitywide Ithaca institutions -- Cayuga Nature Center, Cornell Plantations, the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, the Paleontological Research Institution (PRI), Sciencenter, Tompkins County Museum and the Tompkins County Public Library -- have formed a partnership to promote and enrich lifelong learning in the local community. So far, they are planning collaborative exhibits and programs for the summer of 2001 with the theme "A Special Place: The Landscapes of Tompkins County and Beyond." At a February meeting of the new group, above, are from left, Peter Gould, director of finance and administration at the Johnson Museum; Charles Trautmann, executive director of the Sciencenter; and Warren Allmon, director of PRI. For more information, call the partnership office at the Sciencenter, 272-0600. Robert Barker/University Photography
