The Cornell Savoyards brings the musical comedy Kiss Me, Kate, with music and lyrics by Cole Porter, to Ithaca High School's Kulp Auditorium. Performances are Feb. 23-24 and March 2-4 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 25 and March 4 at 2 p.m.

Kiss Me, Kate is a musical love triangle set in the 1950s. As a theater company performs a musical version of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, love is blind both on and off stage.

The Cornell Savoyards production is directed by Nancy Gaspar, and Kevin Lash and Edward Elliot serve as music and technical directors, respectively.

Dan Booth plays Fred/Petruchio, and Sean Fox is the charming Bill/Lucentio. Lilli/Kate and Lois/Bianca are played by Robin Booth and Ivy Gaibel on Feb. 23, 25 and March 3 and by Karen Wonder Dumont and Megan Kohler on Feb. 24 and March 2 and 4.

Tickets, $10 for general admission, $8 for students and seniors and $7 for all seats at matinees, are on sale at the Willard Straight Hall ticket office, Hickey's Music Center at the Clinton House ticket office. Tickets also will be available at the door.

For information about group discounts or for information about this production, contact the Cornell Savoyards at 253-1668 or www.rso.cornell.edu/savoyards.
