Transoceanic handshake

Cornell President Jeffrey Lehman meets China's senior vice minister of finance last week to discuss Cornell activities and plans in China. Lehman was in Asia to sign agreements with Tsinghua University and Peking University; he also visited Tokyo, and earlier this month Cornell finalized plans for a joint master's degree program with Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
