Rotary relations

Van McMurtry, Cornell vice president for government affairs and community relations, was the featured speaker at the Nov. 10 meeting of the Ithaca Rotary Club at the Holiday Inn in downtown Ithaca. McMurtry addressed the role his department will have in addressing the three challenges outlined in President Jeffrey Lehman's recent State of the University address: life in the age of the genome, wisdom in the age of digital information and sustainability in the age of development.
