Two health-insurance information meetings are set

Nancy Zinzola from the statutory benefits office will conduct two meetings to provide information regarding the Empire Plan. Representatives from Prepaid Health Plan (PHP) also will be present to review the PHP plan. These meetings are an excellent opportunity to ask questions about the coverages that are available to statutory employees in the Ithaca area.

Informational meetings are as follows:

• Nov. 22, from 2 to 4 p.m., Bache Auditorium, Malott Hall;
• Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon, Bache Auditorium, Malott Hall.

Employees must understand health insurance plan copayments and/or deductibles in order to make their Select Benefits election by Dec. 15 of this year.

Correction on PHP participating pharmacies

Some Prepaid Health Plan (PHP) participating pharmacies were incorrectly listed in the Statutory Employees' Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) Update from Oct. 15. Below is an updated list (all in Ithaca, except where another town is listed):

• Fay's Drugs: Cayuga Mall; 12 E. Main St., Dryden; 710 S. Meadow St.
• Hill Drug Store: 307 College Ave.; 513 North Cayuga St.; 33 North St., Dryden
• Holton's Pharmacy: 15 East Main St., Trumansburg
• Jones Pharmacy: 110 Main St., Groton
• K-Mart Pharmacy: 744 S. Meadow St.
• Mack's Rexall Pharmacy: Ithaca Shopping Plaza
• Rite Aid: East Hill Plaza; Triphammer Plaza
