PCCW members receive update on group's activities

The President's Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) was founded in 1990 by then-Cornell President Frank H.T. Rhodes to advance the involvement and leadership of women students, faculty, staff and alumnae within Cornell and its many constituent communities.

At its fall meeting Oct. 22-23 in Palo Alto, PCCW chair Toby Levine reported on the group's activities, which include giving almost $29 million to Cornell for a variety of projects, including:

A new online mentoring service for students, the PCCW Connection, was described by Angela DeSilva, chair of the student and alumni affairs committee. Women students will be able to connect with PCCW members online to ask questions and get advice about preparing for their careers. For more information about PCCW Connection, call 255-6624.
