Shoemobile: The Department of Environmental Health and Safety has announced that Lehigh Safety Shoes will be on campus with its shoemobile Tuesday, Feb. 9. The shoemobile, which provides a large selection of safety shoes with the convenience of on-campus shopping, will be at the Environmental Health and Safety Building, 201 Palm Road (east of the Cornell Orchards of Route 366) from 7:30 to 11 a.m. and from noon to 3 p.m. Employees eligible to receive department reimbursement for safety shoes should use their procurement card or an L-order when purchasing shoes. People using an L-order or procurement card will avoid making any out-of-pocket payments for the amount being paid by the department. Employees may visit the shoemobile on work time with supervisory approval. Maximum monetary amount allowed by the department should be stated on the L-order. For more information, contact Environmental Health and Safety at 255-8200 or contact the EH&S personnel on duty at the shoemobile.

Student research grants:The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is offering the following graduate and undergraduate research opportunities: Arthur Boller Apple Research Grants; CALS Charitable Trust Research Grants; Kieckhefer Adirondack Fellowships; Andrew W. Mellon Student Research Grants; Morley Student Research Grants; and the Ram Sagi Dairy Engineering Award.
