Cornell is No. 6 green campus: Princeton Review

With its wide-ranging, universitywide endeavors to make our little blue planet a more verdant place, Cornell University ranked No. 6 in the 2015 Princeton Review’s Guide to 353 Green Colleges released April 16.

“Environmental issues remain important to college applicants – in 2015, 60 percent of respondents to our ‘College Hopes & Worries Survey’ said they would value having such information – and we’ve continued to survey schools for our Green Rating and list those with the highest rating on the Green Honor Roll in our annual Best Colleges books,” Princeton Review Guide editors wrote.

The guide cited Cornell’s various transit options, efforts to save energy and to use renewable energy, and campus sustainability committee in its ranking.
