Welcome, Blue Devils!

Duke University has joined Borrow Direct, a library service offering Cornell students, faculty and staff fast delivery of items from a collection of more than 60 million volumes.

Duke is the 12th institution to join the partnership, which also includes Cornell, Brown, the University of Chicago, Columbia, Dartmouth, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, MIT, Penn, Princeton and Yale.

Circulating books, printed music and some A/V materials unavailable at Cornell can be borrowed through the service. Most items are delivered within four business days of the request.

Using Borrow Direct, members of the Cornell community borrowed more than 30,000 items in the 2013-14 academic year. More than 2 million items have been shared across the partnership since it began in 1999.
