Donald Greenberg, the Jacob Gould Schurman Professor of Computer Graphics and director of the Program of Computer Graphics, will give a keynote address at the 2016 VIEW Conference in October in Turin, Italy.
VIEW brings together top international professionals in animation, visual effects, game development and computer graphics. Greenberg’s fellow keynoters are Byron Howard, director of Disney’s animated film “Zootopia,” and Brad Lewis, producer of the Warner Bros. film “Storks.”
Greenberg, whose research is supported by Oculus, Pixar, DreamWorks, Microsoft, Intel, Valve and Autodesk, will also give a workshop on “Virtual Reality: What’s Necessary to Make it Real?” in which he will graphically present what’s necessary to improve the current VR technology and discuss its potential for the future.
