Later that day they spoke to Johnson Graduate School of Management students in Sage Hall. The Johnson School presentation was sponsored by the school's Entrepreneurship Association, a student club. Morgan earned his Ph.D. in operations research from Cornell and sold his first startup to the predecessor of PeopleSoft Inc., one of the most successful human resource software makers in the world, headed by Cornellian David Duffield.
