Girls science program: March 1 is the deadline for girls in seventh and eighth grades to register for the Expanding Your Horizons in Math, Science and Engineering program, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 10, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on campus. Applications are available from area schools or by contacting Carol Rundle in the Cornell Public Service Center at 255-1148, e-mail car7@cornell.edu. Volunteers also are needed on the day of the event to assist with registration, to help participants get from one location to another and to distribute T-shirts at the end of the day.
