Monitoring

Shown here is Professor Bass in a tent that is located above the high tide mark on a beach in Brinnon, WA.. The cables from several hydrophones that were positioned earlier in the day adjacent to nests, are connected to tape recorders inside the tent so that sounds can be monitored during the evening hours and stored on digital tapes for later analysis.
