Fall workshops address adoption, telecommuting and more

A classic way to cope with uncertainty and change is to focus on areas of your life that you can control or influence, advises Michelle Artibee, associate director of Work/Life Programs in the Office of Workforce Inclusion and Diversity (WDI).

"WDI offers a number of free workshops to assist faculty, staff and retirees with aspects of their lives that they can influence," she said, noting that in addition to presentations from experts from across campus, several community experts will present workshops on such topics as international adoption, money and relationships and financial and legal issues for the elderly and their caregivers.
