Presidential Search Committee seeks input by May 5

The Presidential Search Committee that will recommend David Skorton’s successor continues to seek input from the Cornell community. If you could not attend one of the open forums in New York or on the Ithaca campus and have ideas to share about Cornell’s next leader, email your comments to the committee at cu-pres-search@cornell.edu by May 5.

The committee is dedicated to an inclusive search process and seeks opinions on challenges and opportunities that the university will face over the next five to 10 years as well as key attributes the next president needs to successfully lead Cornell. This feedback will inform the position statement that will be used to recruit candidates.

Presidential Search Committee members include trustees, faculty members, undergraduate and graduate students, employees, senior administration and alumni.

Skorton, who has been elected secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, will leave Cornell June 30, 2015.
