Students celebrate the end of classes on Slope Day.

Cornell students celebrate the end of the school year on Slope Day, Thursday, May 7, with a concert starting at noon on Libe Slope and activities on Ho Plaza. Performers this year are hip-hop artist Chance the Rapper and Canadian reggae band Magic!, currently on tour with Maroon 5.

Slopefest, a free carnival on Ho Plaza, will offer food, games, novelty items and activities including a photo booth, go-go racers and an inflatable obstacle course.

Student, staff and faculty volunteers are needed for a variety of roles at the event and play a significant part in Slope Day’s success, making the day safe and enjoyable for everyone. Shifts are available starting at different times May 7. Apply online.

Slope Day is open to the Cornell community, alumni and guests.
