Application deadline March 1 for summer experience grants

Undergraduate students have until March 1 to apply online for grants from the Off-Campus Opportunities Fund to support summer experiences. The grants, providing monetary support for a variety of off-campus learning experiences, are offered by four central units on campus.

Global Cornell offers Undergraduate Student Travel Grants (administered by the Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies with the Office of the Vice Provost for International Affairs). Cornell Abroad offers the Global Encounters Scholarship; Engaged Cornell offers the Community Engaged Student Travel Grant Program, and the Office of Academic Diversity Initiatives offers the Student Individual Funding Sponsorship.

Students submit an online application in which they identify the grants for which they are eligible to apply according to established criteria.

The Off-Campus Opportunities Fund increases access to information and simplifies the application process for students, while allocating funding in an efficient, inclusive and equitable way.
