Outreach

Poem in Your Pocket Day, April 20. For the third year, Cornell has partnered with the New York City Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs and Bryant Park. Cornell MFA students, President David Skorton and his wife, Professor Robin Davisson, contributed poetry to an original book that will be distributed to every student at Food and Finance High School (a Cornell partner school) and attendees of the Bryant Park poetry reading.

New York Cares Day, April 25, 9:30 a.m. Canarsie Park, Brooklyn. Alumni will gather for a day of gardening and planting. Information: egd1@cornell.edu. Cornell University Cooperative Extension will plant 1,200 trees at Idelwild Park, Queens, at 9:30 a.m. Information: sjc265@cornell.edu.
