Jazz musician Simon Shaheen will perform in President David Skorton's inaugural concert at 9 p.m. Sept. 7 in Cornell's newly renovated Bailey Hall. The concert is free and open to the public. Tickets are required and will be available on campus at the Day Hall Information and Referral Center and downtown at the Clinton House starting Aug. 21. Inauguration events will begin at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 6 with an academic symposium in Bailey Hall with guest speaker Robert Kagan, a best-selling author and senior associate at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Tickets are not required.
