Protect your NetID from phishing attempts:
Cornell has received recent reports of fraudulent attempts to steal NetID passwords, a practice known as phishing. If you have any reason to believe your password has been stolen, go immediately to http://netid.cornell.edu, change your password, then report the theft to security@cornell.edu. Because your NetID gives you access to your personal university information, if it is stolen, you are also at risk of identity theft. You will never receive e-mail from Cornell requesting your NetID password; regard those e-mails as fraudulent. Learn more about safeguarding your NetID password.
