Cornell Club

Experts in adolescent sexual health, a panel of young people, health advocacy organizations and state government policymakers will convene at the Adolescent Sexual Health Symposium at the Cornell Club, Feb. 3-4. Recommendations from the event will inform adolescent sexual health programming in New York state for the next decade. The state's adolescent sexuality programming was initiated in the early 1990s. Immigrant population growth, technology and differing needs in the state's rural and urban regions also will be discussed. Themes include "What do we know about trends in adolescent sexual behavior today?" "What do we know about disparities in access to adolescent sexual health services, information and education?" "Ecological perspectives: How do environments and relationships impact adolescent sexual health?" and "What might a comprehensive adolescent sexual health initiative for New York state look like?" By invitation only.
