Network for Change, July 21, 6 p.m., 20 W. 22nd St., 3rd Floor. Join Cornell students, alumni and representatives from New York City nonprofit and government agencies for a night of networking. Learn how Cornellians working for social change have made their way in New York City and lead some of the most innovative and effective programs and tackling some the city's biggest challenges.

Panelists include:

  • Basil Smikle '93, founder, Basil Smikle Associates; his clients include New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the Democratic National Committee, the Congressional Black Caucus, the New York City Department of Education, Microsoft, the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation and Columbia University.
  • Michelle Morazan '97, U.S. Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration, Office of the Public Advocate for the City of New York, the New Democracy Project and Alianza Dominicana.
  • Jennifer Hu Corriggio '97, nonprofit law attorney who serves charities, private foundations and social enterprises.
