"Exploring Italy's variety -- summer wines with Italian wine merchants," July 29, 6:30 p.m. $40 per person. Wine tasting presented by the Cornell Club-New York and Italian Wine Merchants, a retail shop that carries only the top 1 percent of all Italian wine produced, founded in 1999 by Sergio Esposito, chef Mario Batal and restaurateur Joe Bastianich. We'll start in the north and taste our way through the diverse regions of Italia! Wines will be paired with an array of seasonal hors d'oeuvres. Members only.
