President David Skorton, left, visits with Jay Noyes III '69 and his son Jansen Noyes IV '04 during the opening celebration for the new Noyes Community Recreation Center March 8 on West Campus. The father and son together have made a gift toward the convenience store in the center. They are descendents of Jansen Noyes Sr. '10 and Agnes Blanke Noyes, who made a gift to name the original Noyes Center in 1967. The event showcased Cornell Recreation Services facilities and programs and the West Campus Residential Initiative. Other donors and participants included Bob Harrison '76, Joel Glasky '71 and Bonnie Wolfman Glasky '73, Kenneth Goldman '71, Bill Kay '51 and Vice President for Student and Academic Services Susan Murphy '73, Ph.D. '94.
