The Cornell Commencement Committee has issued a list of special road and parking lot closings to accommodate numerous activities scheduled for Commencement Weekend. They are as follows:

Friday, May 26:

• Sage Hall Parking Lot, closed 5 p.m., Friday, May 26, until 6 a.m., Sunday, May 28.
• ILR Parking Lot, closed 5 p.m., Friday, May 26, until approximately 9 a.m., Tuesday, May 30.

Any remaining cars will be towed.

Saturday, May 27:

Parking lots that will close at 1 a.m., Saturday, May 27, with any remaining cars towed, are:

• Hoy Parking Garage, except for mobility impaired permit holders, will be closed until approximately 2 p.m., Saturday, May 27.
• Barton Hall east end parking spaces will be closed until approximately 3 p.m., Sunday, May 28.
• Crescent Lot will be closed until approximately 3 p.m., Sunday, May 28.

Campus Road, from Garden Avenue to Wing Drive, will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Parking suggestions for Convocation: Cornell Transportation Services suggests parking in the "B" lot near the Veterinary College and at the "A" lot on Pleasant Grove Road. Shuttle buses will be running from these lots to the stadium. Parking will also be available in "N" parking areas along Tower Road, by Rice Hall and along the north side of Alumni Field.

Sunday, May 28:

The Day Hall parking lot will close at 3 a.m., Sunday, May 28, with any remaining cars towed. It will reopen at approximately 3 p.m., Sunday.

Roads that will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. include:

• Eastbound lane of Campus Road from West Avenue to Central Avenue
• Campus Road between Central Avenue and Tower Road
• Southbound lane of West Avenue
• East Avenue
• Hoy Road
• Garden Avenue between Campus Road and Tower Road
• Wing Drive between Campus Road and Tower Road
• Judd Falls Road between Tower Road and Route 366
• Tower Road between East Avenue and Judd Falls Road
• West Avenue, southbound (8 a.m. to 11 a.m.)

Parking suggestions for Commencement: Shuttle buses will run from the outlying campus parking lots at the Veterinary College (B Lot), North Campus (A and CC Lots) and the West Campus areas from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Traffic will be prohibited on Central Campus from 8 a.m. to 3p.m.
