Alumna publishes book on improving golf handicaps
book cover

"Golfing With Your Eyes Closed" is a new book co-authored by Tiffany Wilding-White '00 that offers step-by-step instructions on creating mental imagery routines to improve golf performance.

The book, published by McGraw-Hill, engages readers with mental exercises, key points to remember and a series of tips for coaches -- all geared toward incorporating visualization into their game. One of the book's highlights is the section on situation-specific imagery, which walks golfers through many of the challenges they might encounter during a typical day on the links. These include staying mentally tough during a multiday tournament, closing out a tournament, recovering from a poor shot and playing from the rough.

Wilding-White graduated from the College of Human Ecology and is a sport psychology consultant in Massachusetts.
