Event Recap President David Skorton met with members of the New York City media for lunch on May 14 at the ILR Conference Center. Discussion topics ranged from Skorton's appointment by Gov. David Paterson to lead the Task Force on Diversifying the New York State Economy Through Industry-Higher Education Partnerships, to admissions, tuition and budget changes for 2009 and beyond. Architecture, Art and Planning Historic Preservation Planning Symposia May 26 and 27 at the New School for Design, 25 E. 13th St. The first two-day program is Preservation/Sustainability 2. The second program, one and a half days in length, is Preserving Stein Communities.
