Three prominent Republicans to visit in April

The Cornell Republicans will host three conservatives during April to speak on campus. They are:

• S.E. Cupp ‘00, author and conservative political commentator and co-host of MSNBC’s “The Cycle” and a former editor for The Cornell Daily Sun, will speak at 6 p.m., Monday, April 8, in 165 McGraw Hall. Her topic is the American media. She is the co-author of “Why You're Wrong About the Right” (2008) and the sole author of “Losing Our Religion: The Liberal Media's Attack on Christianity” (2011).

• Former U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.) will speak on the American Identity at 6:30 p.m. in HEC in Goldwin Smith Hall at 6 p.m., Monday, April 15. He served as a representative from 1999 to 2009 and ran for president in the 2008 election.

• Herman Cain, a candidate for the 2012 U.S. Republican Party presidential nomination, will speak on the American dream Monday, April 22, at 8 p.m. in Call Auditorium. Cain is an author, business executive, radio host, syndicated columnist and Tea Party activist.

All the talks are free and open to the public.
