Election for alumni trustees goes paperless
Alumni who vote for trustees will cast their ballots online this year. Election of two alumni-elected trustees to Cornell's board begins Feb. 1. The plan to go "paperless" will save approximately $90,000, including the cost to mail paper ballots as well as staff and student salaries to process the ballots and update addresses. Alumni will cast their votes using their NetID and password. Those without a NetID will receive instructions about how to obtain one. Those who wish to vote with a paper ballot may request one. Four candidates are running for two seats as alumni trustees on the board. The candidates are:
