Share your bright ideas: Faculty, students and staff at Cornell and the Ithaca community are encouraged to offer ideas to help reduce Cornell's carbon emissions. No idea is too big or small to be entered in the Climate Action Plan Idea Exchange Web site, which will collect these ideas through Dec. 1.

The ideas will then be grouped into such themes as green development, energy conservation, biofuels and renewable energy, carbon offsets and policy. Teams of Cornell staff, faculty and students formed around each of these five themes will bring expertise and experience to the effort.

With financial support from NYSERDA, Cornell hired a partnership of consultants including Affiliated Engineers Inc., Energy Strategies Inc. and Martin/Alexiou/Bryson, PLLC to help Cornell sort the best ideas and arrange them into viable options.
