Assemblies Update, Week of Oct. 15
The following are brief reports from the Student Assembly (SA), Graduate and Professional Student Assembly (GPSA), Employee Assembly (EA) and University Assembly (UA). For more information, visit http://assembly.cornell.edu/.
Recent meetings:
- EA: Oct. 15. Update from the chair, discussion of silent auction fundraiser for Cornellians Aiding and Responding to Employees (CARE) emergency grant fund, debriefing regarding recent president's address to staff.
- GPSA: Oct. 15. Presentations and discussion on student housing. Passed resolutions on changes to the GPSAFC Funding Guidelines Appeals Process (R6), Graduate and Professional Student Programming Board Charter Edits (R7), Space Utilization Study Ad Hoc Committee (R8).
- UA: Oct. 16. Met with student leaders from several graduate and undergraduate umbrella organizations to establish an agenda for addressing diversity and inclusion on campus.
- SA: Oct. 18. Resolutions providing for the support of the Green Revolving Fund, a change to the assembly's voting procedures and the establishment of a committee devoted to addressing diversity and inclusion issues.

- GPSA: Oct. 29, 5:30 p.m., Bache Auditorium, Malott Hall. Presentations by Dean Barbara Knuth and Associate Dean Jan Allen of the Graduate School. Presentation on IT Strategic Plan. Student advocacy breakout session.
- UA: Oct. 30, 4:30 p.m., 401 Physical Sciences.
- EA: Nov. 7, 12:15 p.m., 401 Physical Sciences.
